Nintendo had a pixel art contest to celebrate the release of NES Remix 2 a while ago where if you won, you would be given a wii u. Turns out that the winners were chosen by votes and if you’re like me and handed in your entry about an hour before the deadline, you couldn’t get any votes… So I didn’t even have a chance but I was pretty happy with the results of the sprites since I don’t normally do any kind of pixel art.

These postcards were based on the animated intros for each world in the NES version of Kirby’s Adventure - I tried to only use the colors from the original pixel art. It was a challenge, but SUPER fun and gave me a huge appreciation for the game art!!!!
